GRADUATION PROJECT

On the Edge of Time: Brotherhood Odyssey 

The story begins with a global phenomenon where time inexplicably contracts and stretches, disrupting animals and nature. A mysterious ebbing hourglass is discovered, perhaps the cause of the temporal disturbances. The main characters, brothers separated by life and career choices, a quantum physicist and a former soldier are brought together by the death of their mother, an archaeologist obsessed with the lost city, who lost her family in search of it. They inherit an enigmatic object and an hourglass that may be the key and embark on a quest to unlock the city’s secrets accessible only to those of pure heart and to save the world from a terrible end

The Last City of Rihla al-Sahar 

The base camp in the desert, a scene of everyday life with horses tied up, a campfire, a car in the background, and camping equipment, marking the beginning of the quest. 

And battle against the corrupted trying to prevent the brothers from reaching the city.

 

I worked with a team of enviro artists and character designers from my class to create a visual universe based on the Aztecs. We designed coherent environments and characters for the VFX and Game Art teams to animate and integrate into the game. Through close collaboration, we produced a rich and harmonious visual universe ready to be explored

The game is set in the Aztec civilization during its peak, with a fantastical twist. The world is filled with mythical creatures from Aztec mythology, and the cities are grander and more magical than they were in reality.

I worked on the ruins, which are shrouded in history, a silent testament to a civilization long gone. Crumbling walls, overrun by the relentless jungle, house a central symbol that pulses with arcane energy. The air is thick with the scent of moss and stone, and an almost tangible magic permeates the atmosphere, beckoning the player to uncover its secrets.

PERSONAL PROJECTS

I focused on environmental design and creating realistic content to work in the film and AAA game industries. This approach allows me to develop skills in visual immersion and detail. My goal is to contribute to large-scale projects.

Here are two images from the "Aeons" project that I worked on with Sasha Beliaev and Leonardo Borazio. I aimed to create visual coherence between these two scenes, linking the interior and exterior within the same universe. The first image shows an exterior view of a majestic coastal city, while the second depicts a richly decorated interior scene, incorporating similar architectural and artistic elements to reinforce visual unity.

The Monolith Vise - This forge, combined with a hardened steel hydraulic press, rises like a colossus within a vast industrial hall. It symbolizes the manipulation and transformation of the hardest materials to master in a totalitarian world where beauty and happiness are forbidden.
