Throne Room Environment

This is an Environment made as a final project on second trimester. Is a fight game environment designed as a futuristic throne room.

Environment Project a thone room with a futuristic theme. My first idea was diferent from this, but as I was advancing with the project, different ideas started to flow to me, leading me to this final result.

The concept for this environment is a castle destroyed by the passage of time, with the only thing that has prevailed after all those years being the throne of the last king.

I spent two months making this environment. It is the first complete scenary i've made while also being the first time  i've used Zbrush for the Highpoly models and trim sheet.

The Lowpoly models and the modular pieces like the floor or the walls where made in  Autodesk Maya.

Prop Heroe:


I made the lowpoly of the prop heroe in Maya. After that I sent it to Zbrush to work on the highpoly. The bake and textures where then finished un Substance Painter. I wanted a Prop Heroe that stands out, something inside that ruined room that's still standing after all the years that have passed, and still looks imposing

Props:

Here are some of the props used in the environment, from the hero prop, to part of the foliage. The floors, walls and columns where textured in order to look like marble and stone, which gives a good contrast for the mold to stand out even more.

Lastly, the modular system. It consists just in basic shapes with the marble and stone textures, combined with some wooden parts. But with just this, I made a lot of different combinations using decals and vertex paint with a different texture combining mold and rust, allowing me to make the environment a little more interesting.
