Hi, welcome to my entry for Rookies Award 2024. This is a 3D Animation entry.
It is called GridLine, and it is about a character named Tyler who was previously a racer and was met with unfortunate events that ultimately caused his disability. Upon face his fears he recovers as he sensed a mysterious energy calling him back.

I spend a long time to 3D Model the full vehicle, every bolts & nuts, and every intricate details, as shown below.
Most of the time as a student I was frustrated that mostly we can only learn how to model the exterior of a vehicle, I wanted to push myself to another level.

These are some of the environments I created in 3ds Max and then textured in Substance Painter. I wanted to showcase the gritty environment Tyler is in and how it reflects the person's struggle and hardship.

I also created the entire sound track for the credits, in FL studio! As well as the composition, lighting, cinematography, lighting, etc.

This is Tyler, this pose reflects his ability to move foward quickly in his life and a leadership vibe!
Created in Zbrush and Substance Painter.

This is also 3D modelled by me, and the vehicle was inspired by this model of the car(Nissan Fairlady), which I then later transformed into an unknown "legendary race machine". As you can see the lighting here is very carefully done to reflect the curves of the car to showcase the theres little to none uneven shape of the car. Which showcases the accuracy of the model above. This piece showcases my technical ability to add decals, accurate materials to the vehicle, and compositing in Photoshop.

I hope you enjoyed viewing at my work!

For this animation I even created a script for the animation.

Thanks for viewing! :)
