Below are snippets of my conceptualisation process.

"Are u okay?": Total Defence Day x NYP Motion Graphics (Feb 2024)

Worked in a group of 4 to create this social media-ready clip for Total Defence Day 2024, which is also the 40th year anniversary of Total Defence day.

My role:

I did research, concept development and conceptualised the story for this video, which then got approved.

Came up with the overall story flow, mood and art direction, as well as copywriting and script writing.

I did storyboarding, styleframing and animation for the scenes in 0:00-0:17.

Year of the Dragon 2024 E-Card (Nov 2023)

Worked on this E-Card motion graphic with another classmate.

My role:

Ideated and conceptualised with my classmate.

Storyboarding.

Created and animated the Pearl of Wisdom.

Styleframed, created assets and animated everything from 0:00-0:21.

Official Lyric MV: "The Conqueror" - Reformed (Oct 2023)

Spearheaded end-to-end music lyric video production for Reformed, from initial planning and storyboarding to styleframing and animation. (This was self-volunteered and unpaid)

I utilised Midjourney and royalty free assets to use as assets in my work. Put together in Photoshop, animated in After Effects.

CPF World Mental Health Day: "Making Things Right" (Sept 2023)

Worked in a group of 3 to produce this video for Central Provident Fund Board (CPFB) for World Mental Health Day Campaign on Meaningful Retirement.

My Role:

Ideation and research with team mates. Ultimately, my concept was selected.

Did the general story flow of my concept (includes the rap) as well as art direction.

Wrote close to 20 iterations of the rap, with the help of ChatGPT.

Did the sound design with the help of the classmate who rapped for us.

Storyboarded and styleframed for 0:03, 0:34-1:00. Animated 0:34-1:00.
