Piranesi

This student project was adapted from Susanna Clarke's "Piranesi". Throughout the book, the main character explores an endless labyrinth filled with statues and tides. He also goes fishing sometimes. I thank David Longo for his feedback!

Wizard of Oz
(Sengoku Period)

The characters and story are from "The Wizard of Oz" but with a 15th century Japan influence. Another movie that I've taken inspiration from is "Seven Samurai" 

The Forest God

The prompt for this piece was fun! Design a forest god but give it an unexpected element. I explored a lot of design iterations for the god until I settled on making him small but emphasizing his grumpy personality

Student Film Background Layouts

I'm currently the environment lead for my team's student film, Evil Eye. Here's the bathroom and living room I made for it! These were made with the help of 3D box models made by my teammate, Alexis Sabin

The Juggler

A character design assignment with a circus/carnival theme! I really enjoyed playing around with the proportions and costume designs for the value sketches. I eventually chose the crescent moon guy to proceed into the next phase. It was a hard choice because I started getting attached to multiple designs

Drusilla

A vampire character I designed while taking Chey Curtis' class at project city! I learned a lot from her class and would reccommend it to anyone who wants to be a character designer for TV animation
