Hala Hala, I'm Pascal. I'm an architectural designer living in Lebanon. However, my passion for visual storytelling led me to explore the world of motion graphics. Drawing upon my architectural background, I bring a unique perspective to this field. It's an exhilarating path that allows me to express my creativity in exciting ways. I strive to push my boundaries further with each project, constantly challenging myself to create visually stunning and impactful work.

SUB - ZERO : The Series

Sub-Zero's transformation from noble warrior to malevolent force unfolds in this animation. Symbolic imagery and seamless transitions depict his journey, culminating in a haunting portrayal of his internal struggle between light and shadow.

STORY

Bi-Han the original Sub-Zero, one of the most powerful and devout warriors of the Lin Kuei clan. While essentially neutral, he was a cold-blooded, vicious assassin whose soul had become corrupted from years of violence and remorseless killing.

At the end of the first Mortal Kombat tournament, Bi-Han was murdered by Scorpion in retaliation for his own death at the cryomancer's hands. He then descended to the fifth plane of the Netherrealm where he was resurrected by the necromancer sorcerer Quan Chi, who had earlier resurrected Scorpion as well. The evil within Bi-Han's soul was released by stripping him of pride, compassion, and everything else that made him human.

Eventually reborn in the Netherrealm, now as the shadow wraith Noob Saibot, he becomes the very incarnation of evil. He desires not only to remain in the Netherrealm, but to conquer and rule it. Although he has been seen in the service of evil warlords such as Shinnok and Shao Kahn, his ultimate allegiance is to himself.

Sensorium

"Sensorium" is a captivating animation that artfully explores the profound concept of time and life's transformative journey. The flow of paint symbolizes the accumulation of experiences, memories, and emotions that shape us as individuals.

"Sensorium" is an evocative animation that uses a person's face and body as a canvas to portray life's journey. As paint flows over the figure, changing colors and patterns represent the evolution of our thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. The Layers of Paint shows how experiences build upon each other, creating unique patterns that highlight our individuality.

Ultimately, the full coverage of the person's face with paint symbolizes acceptance of life's changes and celebrates our continuous personal evolution.

Apple TV 

In this animation, I aimed to achieve Apple's renowned minimalist branding. The challenge was to create a story that reflects Apple TV as the future of entertainment, highlighting family and friends gathered around Apple TV and emphasizing the Apple TV app. This project helped me to experiment with different kinds of seamless transitions between scenes which was a lot of fun.
