Matte painting, flying bird view

School project made with Clara Desnoix who made the matte painting and I was responsible of all the rest. 

Breakdown

For this project we wanted to make an environment that can tell a story a little different than something realistic. So we opted for a mix of realistic textures and stylised paintings. 

Here I put the nuke tree for you to have a better idea of what was done. 

The modeling is not ours for the trees but all the rest is made in maya and xgen for the bushes and plants.

The Transformation 

A seashell transforming into another one with some help.

Destruction 

The project was to change a environment based on a real video taken. My idea was to make the street damadge and not being able to tell the difference beetween some of the things I've added in compositing. 

Breakdown

For this one I wanted to be faster for the render in maya so I did all the shadows of the 3D objects in matte paintings and I put them on a card so it could match the lighting.
