Night Shift - BYU 2023 Sophomore Summer Film

A quiet night shift for a New York bodega cashier is interrupted by a fowl turn of events...

With a crew comprised of sophomore animation students, BYU Center For Animation's Night Shift was taken from concept to final render in 3 months. The crew developed and implemented an entire pipeline centered around Unreal Engine 5.2. Students were able to leverage the real-time capabilities of Unreal Engine to work on pre-visualization, animation, and even lighting simultaneously. This workflow enabled a highly collaborative and iterative environment.
