The Concept art of A Letter From Sky

" A  Letter From Sky" is a 3-minute 2D animation that tells the poignant story of a Chinese Air Force soldier during World War II. The narrative unfolds through a heartfelt farewell letter he writes to his childhood sweetheart, recounting his short yet impactful life.

The story begins with his experiences as a young student, facing the horrors of the fascist invasion and fleeing across various parts of China. Despite the chaos, he graduates from middle school and joins the Air Force. His journey then takes him to the United States, where he undergoes rigorous training as a pilot. Ultimately, he sacrifices his life in the defense of his homeland during the war.

I have created character concepts and environment designs that capture the essence of this historical period and the emotional depth of the story. The animation is currently in production, aiming to blend historical accuracy with personal narrative to create a touching tribute to the unsung heroes of the war.
