MODERN TWIST MALAY CULTURE

Traditional of art and kraft Malaysia that can represent are slowly dying of, There is no attraction for young generation. People like younger generation have no implication to continue it. The art and kraft like Karyaneka, songket is dying. I want to create a stunning hotel that represent past and present in the city center of Malaysia., So when people think of Malaysia. They think of Malaysia. They will think of Capitol Hotel.

In ground floor, inspired by traditional Architecture Malay House crack all the wall leaving only column, elevated platform allowed catches winds make the spaces cooler, allowing as much ventilation and lighting possible for Ground floor. Meet the requirement of Eco living. 

KARYANEKA EXHIBITION 

Karyaneka exhibition to allow people to explore and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Malaysia. The exhibition features traditional crafts, interactive displays, and workshops that provide an immersive experience into the artistry and craftsmanship of local artisans.

SERAMBI ANJUNG

Karyaneka motif (Authentic Malaysian Craft). It will be used in partitions and furniture. Thus, when the shadow is cast down, it will come out as a very nice, vintage-looking shadow or pattern.
