Project Phantheon

Hello! My name is Janz Tey, and I am from Malaysia. I’m studying 2D Illustration at Claz’room College. I really enjoy creating stories, I love to design the background story, character image and their life environment. I hope I can give my artwork the life.

I have participated in a project called “Project Pantheon” and in this project my role was to create high quality character design. Since I’m interested in different varieties of color elements which can implement harmony and comfortable tone, hence I have chosen the Egyptian theme. Not only that, I also have done many research bases on their history, clothing, pattern and culture that can help enhance my design. I have selected

Anubis, which is one of the ancient Egyptian gods for my character design.

We need to cut different elements from various references, redesign them, and add them to the character to make him more realistic.

Throughout this project, I'm proud and satisfied with my creation because I gain ton of knowledge especially on how to do photobashing with photo. Furthermore, I have added many characteristics features in my character which allow me to have better motivation in my creating my artwork.
