Round of applause for our sponsors

I'm excited to share that I will be exhibiting my work. My MFA graduation project, titled "Chinese Kung Fu Girl," is a culmination of my studies and creative efforts in 3D animation. This project highlights the rich tradition of Chinese Kung Fu through a dynamic and engaging animated film.

In developing "Chinese Kung Fu Girl," I utilized a combination of motion capture animation and key-framed animation to bring the characters and martial arts sequences to life. The motion capture technology allowed me to capture authentic martial arts movements, ensuring that the animation reflects the fluidity and precision of traditional Kung Fu. On the other hand, key-framed animation provided me with the flexibility to stylize and enhance specific actions and expressions, adding a unique artistic touch to the film.

Additionally, I have documented the entire creative process in a detailed process book. This book outlines each stage of production, from initial concept development and character design to the final rendering and post-production. It includes insights into the challenges I faced, the solutions I implemented, and the creative decisions that shaped the final product.

I hope that through this exhibition, viewers will not only appreciate the technical and artistic aspects of the animation but also gain a deeper understanding of the cultural significance and beauty of Chinese Kung Fu.
