The Crane Crane

Starting this off with my strongest work the crane crane. This project was for the game asset pipeline course where we had to create our own pipeline. I started with generating different prompts in chatgpt and use those prompts in bing ai image to generate concept images, that didn't really work for me I got alot of generic ideas for assets that would work in a post apocalyptic world, but not one that really spoke to me. So after going through pinterest and gaining inspiration I wanted to create some sort of animal mount. You could already guess with what kind of animal I tried getting a mount of it was indeed a crane. And after a happy little accident I got the crane crane as a concept. At first I was really hesitant to even choose this concept but gladly my teacher (Alexander Delagrange) pushed me out of my comfort zone and motivated me + gave me advice on how to tackle this concept. After finding this concept I made the high poly which is highly inspired by Vitaly Bulgarov's work, he is a master at making mid/high poly robotic machines and there is alot of informative and cool work on his youtube. The rest of the workflow is low poly > uv unwrap > baking > texturing (substance painter) > presentation (unreal engine). It was such a cool project to work and I am really surprised of how much I've learned during this course, thanks to our amazing teachers. :)

Po's Treehouse

For this assignment we had to create a treehouse based of a character (this character had to be the younger version of himself). So I chose Po from the kungfu panda movie, I really love this movie and hence why it really spoke to me to choose this character. This was the first course where we had to use zbrush and it was amazing, I really enjoy sculpting and making the little details and shapes.

Jungle temple environment

For this assignment we had to make a ruin and I chose to make a temple ruin in the jungle. The goal was to really focus on the lightning, leading line, vocal point and overall blending different materials and objects to create a somewhat more realistic scene.
