Compositing Showreel 2024

Hello. Designed a scene where various compositing technologies could be combined. also took advantage of the opportunity to create more dramatic compositions using pass comp, 3D backgrounds, and green screens.

The Soldier's static appearance has been changed to a dynamic appearance. and focused on compositing FX sources to maximize the scene. We tried to express the war situation through rotoscoping and background compositing.

The background was changed to Mars. Portrayed an astronaut who went through hardships and arrived at his residence. The blue feel was changed to a yellow tone through matte painting. The background was made richer with 3D compositing. Then, we added Crush and Dirty to the astronaut using UV projection. Additionally, we matched the glass modeling and added a sand smoke source to represent Mars.

This work is enriched with elements through green screen filming. We changed the interior and exterior of the taxi from day to night using keying, remove, roto, and background compositing.

The main character's movements were expressed actively. For an intense look, we used face tracking and created a vein effect in After Effects. And used UV projection.

#The Star Chaser

Rotoscoping was performed along with camera Matchmove and keying. Through pass compositing, the 3D background and the captured people were created naturally. And adjusted the colors.

A person was composited into a 3D background through keying and rotoscoping. focused on cast and occlusion shadows.

It was composed focusing on the person and the glass refraction. And the lighting was corrected through pass synthesis. Cast and occlusion shadows were used to create natural movement of the characters.

It is a time-lapse where the lighting and background change as time passes. A beautiful night sky and shooting stars were also composited behind the clouds. And the colors were created through pass compositing.

Rotoscoping was performed. The colors were adjusted focusing on the specular and shadow of the telescope.
