Ad Astra Per Aspera

Hello!

I am happy to be able to present my short work here! My portfolio consists of a story titled: Ad Astra Per Aspera. 

In this next page is the first character design sheet. For the protagonist "The Knight". 

Following the design of The Knight, is the second protagonist Cassandra or "Cassie", who tags along in the journey. Cassie is not a human creature, as shown in her design she has quite unique features making her distinguishable and yet another part of this curious world I have attempted to create. 

The following is a quick illustration of both characters resting whilst encountering a strange creature and its offspring. Who look right back at them. 

The following is the design of the final main protagonist, rather the antagonist of the story. 

As this character took far longer to design, I have decided to show the progress overall. Continuing with the color iterations, all the options of combinations that were thought about before choosing the final palette.

For the final showcase of character design is the overall changes that the character "Cirque" went through, from the first rough sketch ever to the final render. This is a simplifies version to show simply the main changes made. 

For the final entry of my project I offer an illustration of a conflict between the protagonist and antagonist, in a scene where they must face each other.
