The genesis of a dream

Hello! my name is Nicolas Alfonso García, a lover of design and aesthetics, who has been curating his taste and vision over time, I humbly share my interpretation of the world, painted with the colors of my perception and shaped by my individual experiences.

The following images presented have been produced during the Architectural Visualisation course at School-ing 2023-24. I invite you into the exploration of beauty and creativity, showcasing my dedication to modeling, texturing, lighting, and materials.

Foundations of imagination

Project: Camera House, Residential 2023
 Location / Pemberton Valley

My first project undertaken with 3ds Max proved to be a formidable challenge, as acquainting myself with the various tools and modifiers unfolded as a slow yet rewarding journey of personal growth. Crafting such an impressive endeavor from scratch while slowly learning the fundamental knowledge of 3ds Max and V-Ray was undeniably a test of resilience. As I reflect upon its inception and what I have achieved, I am very satisfied with the results, even though there is always room for improvement.

Learnt utilizing Itoo Software Forest Pack and honed my skills in modeling and texturizing materials using 3dCollective dirt masks and 3dCollective HDRIs, playing with light was so fun!

Whispers of Paris

Project: Isabelle Stanislas Apartment
Location: Rue du Cirque, Paris 8

In this project, my growing familiarity with modeling tools allowed me to unveil a more nuanced expression of my creativity. My personal aspiration was to craft striking static images where the essence of each element, coupled with its materiality, spoke volumes. Drawing inspiration from the elegance of French design, I embraced simplicity as the ultimate sophistication.

Throughout this stage of the course, I deepened my understanding of modeling techniques. The invaluable assistance of Sini software and the application of various modifiers such as Sweep and the Raiclone plug-in significantly enriched my skill set.

Sculpting timelessness

"Eloquence in Craft"
Jot chair - Giotto Stoppino
Unknown designer - Found at Isabelle Stanislas maison

Undoubtedly, the most challenging segment of the course for me. Delving into the intricacies of polygonal modeling proved to be a complex endeavor, demanding both fluency and countless hours of dedicated practice.

Learnt Unwrap modifier, organic modelling by patches, booleans, splines...

The Beauty of Perspective

In the contest section, we delved into the art of matte painting, learning to integrate real photographs seamlessly into our scenes, thereby enhancing the final image quality. My goal was to create a compelling image that evokes emotion in the viewer, sparking their imagination about the possibilities within the space.

I expanded my expertise in Photoshop, mastering image selection and matte painting techniques. Additionally, I improved my skills with RailClone and learned to efficiently manage scenes using Pulze.

Project Under Development

Receiving support and feedback from Victor Bonafonte, CEO of Beauty and the Bit, has been an honor and a source of great pride. Collaborating with one of the foremost studios has provided invaluable insights into the rigorous demands and time constraints of the international stage.

The goal of this project is to create a standout, impactful image—a true 'kill shot' that captures attention and leaves a lasting impression. The Broad, Los Angeles

Harmony in Shadows

Project: Terra Restaurant, design by Yod Group
Location: Ukraine

In the heart of Ukraine, the Nature Terra Restaurant stands as a monument to sophisticated design and natural beauty. With moody, dark interiors illuminated by serene green lights, this project embodies elegance and sophistication. As Alberti once said, 'Beauty is a reflection of the divine,' and here, in this exquisite space, that reflection is both humbly and poetically captured.

Illumination is pivotal in this project, and I have strived to use it to evoke emotions in the viewer. Sini tool is essential in my daily workflow, along with the Pulze scene manager.

Thank you for visiting my profile! I sincerely appreciate the time you’ve spent exploring each of my projects. I am excited to continue learning and growing in the field of seeking beauty, and the prospect of entering the workforce upon completing my studies fills me with great motivation.

Your presence and attention are deeply appreciated.
