Kittie Yiyi Wonderland

Welcome to my wonderland !

Hi, my name is Jesvie. Basically I'm currently studying Year 2 in interior architecture and this is the first time i submit for Rookie! This time, I would like to share about my design studio projects. Enjoy! 

First of all...

Let me start with a simple brief for my favourite project, Kittie Yiyi Wonderland! This project is to propose an exhibition and pop-up events for Kittie Yiyi, a Malaysia local fashion brands. This exhibition will be located at KLCC Park, Kuala Lumpur city center, Malaysia.

Design concept

A kaleidoscope of colors will define the palette, taking cues from Kittie Yiyi's signature hues. Vibrant pinks, electric blues, sunshine yellows, and lush greens will dominate, creating an environment that exudes energy and excitement. The colors will transition seamlessly, creating a visual journey that mirrors the playful spirit of Kittie Yiyi's fashion.

Incorporate playful, lively and artistic concept draws inspirations form Kittie Yiyi logo Bee design. The building structure for the exhibition will be inspired from the structure composition of bee wings which is reflective, colourful and playful.

Lets start our journey to wonderland!

In the heart of a bustling town stood "KITTIE YIYI Wonderland: A Playful Journey into Colorful Fashion." The entrance, a magical gateway adorned with oversized fabric flowers and LED lights, transported visitors into Kittie Yiyi's enchanting world. A timeline chronicled the brand's evolution with sketches, photos, and artifacts, immersing visitors in its playful aesthetic.

At the heart of the exhibition was the Kittie Yiyi Collection. Mannequins adorned in vibrant outfits stood against dreamlike backdrops, inviting tactile exploration and a deeper appreciation of the intricate designs. Each ensemble showcased the brand's signature bold patterns, vibrant colors, and whimsical elements, offering a sensory feast for fashion enthusiasts.

A photobooth with a kaleidoscopic backdrop captured colorful memories of the visit. Guests could take home a snapshot of their experience, a playful keepsake of their journey through Kittie Yiyi Wonderland. It also act as a stage for Kittie Yiyi having sharings and talks for events.

One of the most interactive sections was "Rent Clothing With Kittie Yiyi." Here, visitors had the unique opportunity to wear and experience the brand firsthand. Trying on these extraordinary pieces allowed them to fully immerse themselves in the playful and colorful world of Kittie Yiyi.

Exhibition Shop, where exclusive Kittie Yiyi merchandise was available for purchase. From clothing and accessories to home decor items, the shop ensured that visitors could carry a piece of the magic back into their everyday lives.

Last but not least...

As the sunset and visitors made their way out, they left inspired and enchanted. Their hearts were full of appreciation for the vibrant and whimsical world crafted by Kittie Yiyi. The exhibition had not only showcased the evolution of a remarkable brand but also ignited creativity and joy in all who had the pleasure of stepping through its enchanting doors.
