A portfolio of my work from a compositing class that I took this past semester. Aiming to integrate Motion Design and Visual Effects techniques together.
Seasonal Cycle
This project served as an introduction to compositing pipelines in Nuke, as well as to learn basic tracking. Tasked with creating a themed animation to be integrated and composited onto shot live footage on a non-digital frame.
The animation is inspired by scenery I have seen while spending many summers on Cape Cod. Focusing on the liveliness versus stillness of different seasons. This was my first time using Nuke for compositing.
here is a breakdown of the composite.
Lego Breaking The Frame
This project focused on creating an animation that seamlessly breaks into live footage. Aiming to learn aspects of pulling green screen keys, screen replacements, and maintaining edge integrity.
Inspired by the Lego video games of the early 2000s, referencing the iconic visuals and sound effects that accompany them. Specifically, this Lego figure attempts to go after a collectable in the game called "Red Bricks" before falling to his demise.

Adidas Superstar Branded ID
This project focused on creating a short promotional animation for a brand. Integrating both digital animation and shooting live action humans on a green screen. Aiming to learn how to properly key humans.
This piece specifically focuses on the Adidas, "Superstar Originals" line of clothing and gear. Thanks to fellow Motion Designer, Lucia Alonso, for being the Adidas model.

Lego Tower of Pisa
This project focused on learning 3D camera tracking, starting in Cinema4D and being brought into Nuke. This was also an introduction to learning basic AOVs and Redshift Rendering.
This piece specifically focuses on a Lego figure rapidly building a set of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Referencing older Lego commercials similarly built a Lego set in an almost timelapse fashion.
