The Laughing Heart - Style Frames

These are style frames for an animated narration of "The Laughing Heart," a poem by Charles Bukowski. Through these style frames, I aimed to depict the idea that someone struggling can beat depression, and if they keep going, they can change their life. This moral is represented by plants beginning to grow inside a dark cave, with a helping hand, to signify opportunity and change.

PROCESS

I created a board-o-matic made with style frames and storyboards for an animated narration of the poem.

PLAGUE - Abstract Title Sequence

I conceptualized, filmed, and edited this title sequence using footage filmed with a macro lens. Sound design was done in collaboration with Kelly Warner.

Sarasota Architectural Series

I created a set of posters highlighting the three celebrated architectural movements prevalent in Sarasota: Mediterranean Revival, Mid-Century Modern, and Post Modern. I aimed to make each poster individual, but part of a cohesive set.

Five Senses

I created an animation illustrating the five senses through birds and their adventures.

Toaster Friend

I created a 3D Kitchen of a toaster friend in the kitchen! This was modeled and animated in Cinema 4D using Octane Render.

The Hot-Dog Mobile

I animated a friend who wants you to have condiments for your food. This was created in Cinema4D using Octane Render, and edited in After Effects.
