Mason Thompson:

When illustrating the backgrounds, I depend on the storyboard to create a 3D model that satisfied the composition. This helped me maintain consistency among elements in the background. The first scene presented was put together with separate layers to create a parallax effect.

Lao Straker:

-New layer over the animatic for rough animation

-Draw keys (referenced from animatic), followed by breakdowns and in-betweens with adjustments for timing

-Lower opacity add new layer for clean up

-Neatly draw over rough animation and bucket fill with color

Abe Enoch:

Rough animation was done using circles and lines to represent the volumes and limbs. Cleanup was done separately before being imported into the final composited scene.

The bread pile was constructed in 3d using 2d image planes that were "pinned" to a deformable mesh allowing the pile to be animated as a whole without distorting the individual pieces of bread.
