Box of Cards - Illustration & 3D Props
I wanted to work on a personal project combining both 2D and 3D skills, so I made a game ready 3D Prop of a box with tarot-like illustrated cards. While I took inspiration from Art Nouveau and Alfons Mucha for the style of the illustrations, they reference TTRPG characters of mine and their story.

↑ The final renders were made in Unreal Engine 5.
↑ The illustrations have music as their core theme and their golden patterns are inspired by the Art Nouveau style, pulling ideas from vegetations and nature. The cover of the box is also meant to evoke the vintage posters and advertisements of that era.
The texturing was made primarly in Substance 3D Painter, with the addition of custom alphas and corresponding normal maps created on Photoshop to give volume to the gold engravings.
↑ The 3D Modelling was made entirely in 3ds Max, with some of the retopology made in Maya.
