Notre-Dame des Enfers

What if a holy place was not so holy ?

What if it was corrupted by a creature ?

What if it was the hell gate ?

What if it was a game ?

This is a piece, the black tower of the chess board.

This project was made at school in team where each student need to create one piece of the chess board. With my team, we had choose the black pieces with the hell theme. So here it is, my version of the hell gate ! A cathedral, inspired by Notre-Dame de Paris, corrupted by a demonic giant octopus. This octopus will eat thoses who gets too close and too curious to bring them in hell. It was really fun to make it from the concept art, the polymer sculpture, to finally the 3D model.

Merovingian Tombs

It's an archaeological reproduction of two merovingian tombs. The one on the left (the couple) was found in Montenach in Moselle, France. The one on the right (the woman with the kids) was found in Hérange in Moselle, France. I did it to illustrate a slideshow from my father to make it more understandable for the public. This project was really hard and challenging to make because I had only one week to finish it, and before that, I never did a full character with clothes, even less which is reliable to the historical reality.

This project was the first time for me using ZBrush. It wasn't easy because I needed to learn the softwear and sculpt a cat skull who looks as realistic as possible. But, because this project was hard to make, those after were much simpler.

For this project I wanted to create a shop with an object. So I took an empty ramen box. But alone, the ramen shop was too empty so I added an environnement. And because it was always too empty, I also added little cats. Yeah theses cats look like little vacuum cleaner robot. But isn't it a bit like a real cat who sucks up all he can eat ?
