Godless Shells

Godless Shells is a concept art book for a single player, third-person hack-and-slash action video game, with the narrative regarding angels, demons, and humans. The story explores a second chance at life, and how much someone is willing to sacrifice to fight for it.

In the distant future, Hell becomes full. When humans die they are no longer damned to Hell, but transform into demonic creatures instead, retaining all their human memories and thoughts. These creatures are named Amunara, and are mistaken by mankind as a new disease or form of mutation.

After 20 years, God has given humanity an ultimatum: all Amunara must be eradicated within a year, or the Earth will be destroyed and recreated. The GEARS of the Holy Order(angels) descend, joining humans in their efforts of killing all Amunara.
