The Unlikely Guest

The Unlikely Guest (2024)

The Unlikely Guest is a degree film project by Baruch Yerekenov (that's me) and Raina Malinovska. It tells a story of a family dinner that went wrong after the protagonist, Daphne Grohman, got annoyed with her elders who might have gotten a bit too drunk.

I was responsible for the script and the storyboard on this project, most of character design, most of the traditional animation, the CGI spaceship, title card design and some backgrounds, casting and directing voice actors.

Raina was responsible for designing and animating the alien, 3D environment design and the car model, colour scripting and most of the backgrounds, and some of the traditional animation.
