Fluffy Spider
A short encounter with a very fluffy friend. Don't blink! Let him take you into his vibrant world for a brief moment. This is my first time animating a multi-legged creature and I'm very excited to present it to you in its fluffiest form.

This is an animated short introducing the fluffy peacock jumping spider.
The spider was modelled, textured, rigged, skinned, and animated in Blender
All short films were edited in DaVinci Resolve 18

I made a special shader in Blender to create the beautiful look that the peacock spider's abdomen has. It shows the vibrant colors, while reflecting light in unique ways.

The spider has shiny eyes, which reflect the light in interesting ways, with a slightly iredescent effect, typically seen on bugs and arachnids.
