I used Houdini FX to create the Portal simulation, NukeX, for the colour grading and Composite.

This is the overall look of the Infinite Portal Spiral golden look.

1st image has no Colour Grade on it.

2nd image is Colour Graded.

3rd image is the final Colour Graded result.

This is the Infinite Portal Spiral, node setup.

The carve4 node: 

The First U, 0-1 controls in which direction the circle should flow and move toward that direction.

It flows in the opposite direction as the circle spins.

Initially I first created a spiral circle going in-ward and then have out-ward motion.

This is the node setups, for the spiral circle.

By going Inside the popnet, sopsolver1, to pointvop1, This is where you have control over the spiral, from the inside network.

The pcopen1 node controls the search radius of the particles of the spiral.

I created this magical sparks portal, in Houdini Fx

The emission was added on the sparks.

I was inspired, by how amazing Marvel's Doctor Strange teleport portal was created and made.

Particles turned into line sparks.

Sandman tripping onto the floor.
