Here are my motion graphics projects from my first and second years at Belfast Metropolitan College. Each showcases the entire production process, from design to compositing. Notably, in my second year, I transitioned to NUKE for multi-pass rendering, reflecting my evolving expertise with industry-standard tools.
This is my second year of studying VFX Animation at Belfast Metropolitan College. In this project, I completed the entire pipeline from design, sculpting, texturing, rigging, animation, mulit-pass rendering, and compositing. I utilized a range of industry-standard software, including ZBrush, Substance Painter, Maya, NUKE, and the Adobe Suite.
The project involved using an auto rig that was then modified to better suit the model's limitations. Throughout this process, I found rigging and animation to be particularly enjoyable and fulfilling.
I am eager to showcase my skills and creativity in this competition, demonstrating my proficiency and passion for VFX animation.

the UDIMS set for this project
During my first year in the VFX Animation program at Belfast Metropolitan College, I undertook a comprehensive project that involved completing the entire animation pipeline. This included design, sculpting, texturing, rigging, animation, rendering, and compositing. I utilized industry-standard software such as ZBrush, Substance Painter, Maya, and the Adobe Suite.
In this project, I independently built the rig and tracked a live plate in After Effects, as demonstrated in the video above. I found the rigging process particularly fascinating, alongside designing my robot.
