Intro

Hey everyone, here's some of my projects I've made over the past year at Think Tank, I've learned so many new softwares and workflows during my time here and I'm still learning more everyday!

Japanese Izakaya Bar

This project was for my Think Tank advanced term and was my second project in Unreal Engine! I spent four months on this project and learned many new workflows and techniques including randomization using world position and multiple UV sets for edge masking.

Liminality

This project was for my intermediate term and was my first ever dive into Unreal Engine! I learned a lot about how to work in Unreal as well as good game optimization and modular kits. This was also my first project incorporating Substance Designer into the mix of softwares.

Potioneer's Rainy Day

This project is for my mentorship term of Think Tank and I'm still currently working on it! I've taken all my knowledge of my previous projects and made this piece as a love letter to magical fantasy worlds like Harry Potter! I focused a lot more on modularity of buildings as well as making props look good and some trim sheet techniques. This was my first deeper dive into Substance Designer, making more complex materials and finding ways to optimize my scene in general. The books and potions are all randomly driven by world position and a lot of the wood materials are reused from designer!

Flasklock Pistol Prop

This was for my hero prop assignment, we had to make a hero prop from a concept and present it using Marmoset! I had a lot of fun with this model and learned some more about how to make props in general. this was also my first time using Marmoset for presenting and Designer for some VFX type effect! I also had a lot of fun trying some more stylized materials.
