Black & white

Today is one of those days when I feel particularly nostalgic. The sky is covered with gray clouds and a gentle rain falls over the city, creating a melancholic atmosphere that invites me to reflect on past moments. I fondly remember those summer afternoons in the village when the sun seemed to shine more brightly and the warm breeze carried the scent of flower fields.

Life seemed simpler then. The laughter of friends echoed in every corner and the problems were so light that they were barely felt. Now, everything is different. Responsibilities, worries, and the frantic pace of everyday life sometimes make us forget the importance of those small moments of happiness.

Sometimes I wonder if those days will return. If I will be able to feel that pure and uncomplicated joy again. But then, I realize that those memories live in my heart and that, in some way, they are part of who I am today. And although the present has its challenges, it also has its own beauty; you just have to know how to find it.

It is on days like today, when the rain seems to wash the streets and my soul, that I allow myself to dream. To dream of a future filled with new memories to create, with the hope that, despite everything, there will always be moments of light and happiness to discover.
