Retail Design- Summorie
A place to express your inner child while having fun journaling.
My client for this project is Summorie. Specializing in making journal books, stickers, monthly dairy and others. I choose Summorie as I have done journaling in the past thus having a special place in my heart.
The diagram above are things I thought of when relating to my client.
In my concept sketches, I did 2 different drafts which are toys related that i use to play and see when I thought of 'mix- match' and 'shape'. As its modular there isn't a fix placement on the toys thus I circle the 2 sketches.
The model is a replica of my concept sketch; draft 2. A non fix object, thus allowing people to play with and 'build' freely.
For my mood board, I thought of every furniture to be to be moveable and changeable. Thus making it look different and new every time.
This whole project is basically a fun, calm but playful place for people who like arts, journaling, or just want a quiet place to do something. Like journaling, is fun, calming and a bit perky. By keeping in mind that I want a place to feel like a toy but still useful and functional, in hopes for people to feel safe to bring out their inner child and enjoy the experience
