ARCHITECTURAL VISUALIZATION

The Great Room is an area for quiet discussion, thinking and studies, as well as a place for meetings, socializing and entertaining. It's an excellent place to think or drink, whether for business or pleasure.

For this project is to maintain the company's original vibe by giving it a premium feel and having a natural vibe which is inspired by the site. So, for My client is get rid of from the usual densification model of co working space and took inspiration from luxury hotel and business club. Therefore, for my starting point I choose to use cocktail, they have provided a bar for their visitor. And they have always had a cocktail event with different kind of entrepreneur. So, I start to make it more simplify and dynamic shape to make the object softer to be give a sense of relax, pleasure.

And for the concept title I name it as MIX because in the early year co working space is space for people to work and relax. The founder of my client wants to provide every member to have a work life balance. Such as the member can work while social with others. And when finish work the member can chill out at the bar to release their whole day tiredness.

3D PERSPECTIVES

This is a multifunctional area at morning is a café but at night it will turn to be a bar. This area I have applied a ceiling design. Which come from my concept model. To have a connect will my concept. 

This is a lounge which located at ground floor. In this area I have applied a ceiling design,  a drop ceiling about 100mm. And on the wall, I have applied a few of design to make the area more interesting instead of keeping it empty. And have a connection with my concept. This area the ceiling design I have applied a mirror on it to make the area to feel wide. And have applied a platform about 100 mm height. The side of the platform I have applied light.

Hot desk area, an area where people can communicate with other people or workers. this area I also have applied a ceiling design. Lighting, choose to use magnetic track light. 

Next, this area is a private area which have install phone booth. This phone booth is allowed two people access. This area has a platform about 100mm height.

This area is located at first floor. This area has two voids. So instead of putting the void empty I have use it and build up a study area. So that this area will not be useless. 

This is another lounge locate at first floor. This lounge is a multifunctional area, it can be using to open an event, a talk or be working area. Ceiling design, I applied mirror on it make the area wider and there is a divider between lounge and the hot desk area. 

This is a drawing area, an area for people to do a small event. This area I have applied a ceiling design, a drop ceiling about 100mm. And there is  platform about 100mm height. And the side of the drop ceiling and the platform I have applied light. So, when the main light off it will create another kind of vibe.

RESTAURANT DESIGN

 The founder of SIMPLE KAFFA is 2016 World Barista Champion Wu Tse- lng. Before the founder became a barista, he was an engineer. He became a barista because he had a habit of drinking coffee in high school. but in college, there is no coffee shop nearby, so he had an idea to make their own coffee. Then he started the route of becoming a barista, to make good coffee instead of just wanting to drink coffee.

SIMPLE KAFFA The word ‘KAFFA’ means ‘kaffa forest’ which is located in Ethiopia. Countries that produce coffee beans. So, there is a legend about a coffee bean found there. So, it represents a sense of source for him. And because he names 吳則霖 the word 霖 separated it will become 雨林 is mean rainforest so this can be a respond between the two words.

So, from the founder, he said coffee allowed them to get in touch with this community of interesting people and things. And he also hopes SIMPLE KAFFA can play more roles, so that every coffee lover can have a suitable coffee shop to choose from at every different moment. And he also said that Coffee can come in all kinds of delicious forms, and so can the coffee experience. 

So, this is the founder of SIMPLE KAFFE Wu Zelin and Lu Jiaqi

Currently, SIMPLE KAFFA has five stores. Such as Simple Kaffa Sola, Simple Kaffa Flagship, Simple Kaffa The Coffee One, Simple Kaffa Super Kiosk and Simple Kaffa Taoyuan Airport. 

This is my concept title and statement; I named it as Mystical Rainforest Retreat. Immerse people in the atmosphere of an ancient rainforest at the café, with moody lighting, native artwork and hidden seating nooks.

And this is the Furniture Layout Plan. So, for the floor material I have applied laminated, ceramic tiles and natural stone at outdoor area. And Indoor area I have applied natural stone, laminate and parquet walnut.

3D PERSPECTIVES

This area approximately 28 people more to sit. On the wall I have applied two patterns. One is a brick wall, and the other is concrete with a straight line. On the wall I have applied vine and wall plants which will make people immerse in the rainforest. And I also applied a led strip light on it which is to improve the layer of the area.  

This area is the most inside position of the cafe, which can provide a semi-private area because I have applied a bamboo roller. So, it is suitable for people to discuss work or homework.

This area is a multifunction area; it can be a coffee and bar area and also can turn into a Coffee testing or Teaching Area which means they can open an event of teaching people about coffee. I also have applied veins at the bar table. So, in the center of the coffee area is a table with a coffee machine where the barista may make the coffee while the customer looks on it. This area also applied a ceiling design which is the design of my concept model.

This outdoor area surrounded by plants allows people to immerse themselves in the forest. 

This is the reception area. So, on the display cabinet I also have an applied vein and also the logo of my client,  to emphasize this area.

Lastly, this area is a waiting area. I have applied a led strip light on top of the ceiling which can help to brighten the wall which will improve the visual beauty of the space. The wall is decorated with plants which make this area more suitable for the entire environment.
