About My Project

This is a 30-second 3D product promotional video of the Magnum mobile apps, the assignment focuses on delving into movement, timing, and grasping the intricacies of 3D motion design using Blender. The whole assignment, from modeling, textures applying, lighting set up and animation in Blender, as well as editing and voice dubbing in After Effects plus Adobe Audition, spanned 18 weeks.

The promotional video for the Magnum mobile app begins with a man asleep in his bed. The camera slowly zooms in to reveal his dream, where he experiences a jump scare from a three-headed snake. Upon waking up, he checks the Magnum mobile app to find out what number combination corresponds to dreaming of a three-headed snake in the lottery. However, he doubts his luck and doesn't pay much attention before going back to sleep. The next day, when he checks the lottery results, he realizes that the first prize number was indeed the three-headed snake combination.

Feeling regretful for missing out on the jackpot, the man resolves to reclaim what should have been his rightful winnings. That night, he dreams of two scenarios: someone catching a flying fish and a plane crashing into a skyscraper. Upon awakening, he faces another dilemma with little money left, unsure of which combination to buy. Eventually, he decides on the combination of the plane crashing into the skyscraper, and luck is on his side as it wins him the jackpot he had hoped for.
