Zhamanta Chavez - Concept Art and Illustration

Viking Project: I learned about material wedges and proper rendering techniques.

Ancient Robot Project: this project took me through the entire concept art process.  From thumbnailing to polishing, I now know everything it takes to create an asset.

Blacksmith Workplace: this project taught me to take into consideration gameplay and scale as well as improved my lighting techniques.

Space Marine Helmet Project: this project taught me the importance of iteration and turnarounds as well as honed my understanding of perspective.

Knife Project: this project specifically targeted refraction.  The pattern I drew on this glassy knife made it that much challenging but fun.

Arm Mutation Project:  this assignment opened my eyes to the idea of showing the evolution of assets through concept art.
