Concept porfolio for games and animation

Hi, I'm Jaime and I'm an artist looking forward to working in the entertainment industry.

I love both videogames and animation, and so I'm trying to showcase my skills at creating images of the scenes, environments, props and characters that you'd find in the pre-production of this type of projects.

First, here are a couple of keyframes from personal stories where I focused on the composition, mood and colour

In the following project I practiced making environments, mood paintings and props from the old Robert E. Howard's Conan the Cimmerian tales. The short stories and novelettes are filled with fantastic and inspiring settings which I tried to translate to images in my style.

This first environment is Conan's walk to the Tower of the Elephant

Next is a gunslinger / ronin type character along with his unusual revolver

This environment piece shows a world of toxic rain were people live of the remnants of past civilizations, and it's painted over a simple 3D base
